MAXIFOODS Global Products Corporation was founded by its present Chairman & President, Wilfredo R. Olaguer, and was incorporated in September 2011.
In the year 2000, Wilfredo R. Olaguer, who was then an entrepreneur, started tapping the market for imported sugar as raw material ingredient of exporters in the food and beverage industry in partnership with international commodity traders.
Over the years, the founder of MAXIFOODS established himself as the major and leading supplier of imported refined sugar from Thailand and Malaysia.
Following its incorporation in 2011, MAXIFOODS began its market expansion and product diversification. In 2014, MAXIFOODS ventured into the export market to tap and develop the non-traditional market for Philippine Raw Sugar in Southeast Asia.
In 2024, value of sugar imports of MAXIFOODS’ clients amounted to USD 8.45M equivalent to a volume of 12,600 MT. Aside from imported sugar, MAXIFOODS also sells and distributes locally-produced sugar, wheat flour, and RBD coconut oil, and palm oil.
